Just in time to catch the last five minutes of this year’s Brain Injury Alliance of Washington Annual Brain Injury Art Show! I’m very excited about this show, which is coming on the heels of The Creativity Expo over in New Jersey, a multi-media arts event that happened in July.

I truly love being able to highlight any of the art shows, exhibits, films, and other cultural work done by folks in our wonderful brain injury community. But the trend over here is leading me to want to rename the site to: “Who Am I To Read A Calendar?” I joke, but I’m not proud that I keep coming across all of this great community information late in the game.
If you know of brain injury and disability arts and cultural events, drop me a line anytime. I would love to promote work like this that amplifies the work and experiences of people with brain injury. This blog started to keep folks up to date about the documentary, which features artists with brain injuries. I enjoy that, sometimes, I can make it so much broader than the small handful of artists we are featuring. Keep in touch, and enjoy the art show up in Washington!
