Celebrate Dis/Rep Workshop’s fifth year of revolutionary access and Disability-led learning for us and by us. Experience access negotiations, shared readings, and group discussions as we consider change as a powerful force that can make us stronger together. The workshops this year will be four Sundays in May and June: May 19th and 26th, and June 2nd and 9th.
All the workshops are fully remote over Zoom, so get comfy and cozy, grab a drink, put a cat on your lap (I know I will), and sign in. You can show up for each event or watch a captioned recording later. Register for access to all the live sessions and the recordings.
Some Benefits Of Dis/Rep
- Develop skills for joyous access by participating in a disabled-led cultural space.
- Take part in a live or recorded event with baseline accessibility including Deaf ASL interpreting teams, closed captions, and professional transcripts.
- Enjoy artist-led embodiment exercises at the beginning of each session.
- Learn from insightful texts by multiply-marginalized Disabled leaders as a way of considering your own lived experience of Disabling circumstances.
