Get Podcasting! at San Francisco’s Disability Cultural Center

Listen to this post:

I’m super excited to announce POD Access’s first interactive workshop that Thomas Reid and I are co-facilitating. It’ll be onsite and over Zoom. Everyone is welcome. It’ll be part of a series called Sustaining Us at the new San Francisco Disability Cultural Center.

RouRou the PODCat is thrilled to make the announcement official. The photo shows a close view of a crowd of thousands of people in front of a stadium stage. Many have their hands raised high or film the show on cellphones. Multi-colored confetti fills the dark space, falling from high up, and bright stage lights blast in an arch around the main act who is up there being a total badass. At centerstage, a King Kong-sized giant PODCat welcomes up Cheryl and Thomas. He’s a longhaired black and seal cat sitting in profile, with his head turned to face his adoring crowd. His mouth is open, fangs gleaming, as he belts “POD Access” in his most metal voice.
