Listen to this post:
A brief introduction to one of our featured artists, Brandon Michael Scarth.
“So I’m Brandon Michael Scarth, as you know. And I got into an accident about five years and seven months ago? Or maybe it was five years and nine months ago. I don’t really remember. I remember it was July 3rd, 2007.
We had just stopped at a stop sign. And then all of the sudden, another individual, high on meth and marijuana, had decided that he’d be just fine to drive home. Eventually, he drove his truck into our car, and that’s basically how I got my brain injury.
Yeah. Yeah, I know.
I used to be a very dramatic individual that loved to do funny things and make people laugh. I used to actually be a drama major at Cornish College of the Arts.
Being in a documentary, for me, is very fun, you know? I love the opportunity to be in a documentary because it’s basically just what I used to do all the time, only in a different form and stuff. But it’s still very, very fun, you know?
I very much appreciate all of you watching this recording because you want to get out and see and feel different things about people who have had brain injuries. And I just salute you, you know.”
Brandon will be back to share his art. Stay tuned!
